Harvard Club of Ghana to Launch Inspire Program Locally

Harvard INSPIRE aims to bring talented underprivileged rising high school juniors and seniors between the ages of 15 and 18 from African schools to Harvard’s two-week Pre-college Summer Program. INSPIRE exposes students to Harvard University and other US colleges and universities that offer financial aid and other opportunities to African students with merit. INSPIRE also pairs each student with a Harvard undergraduate mentor. The mentor acts as an invaluable guide in the process of applying to the university upon graduating from high school. This year we plan to support 3-5 Ghanaian students’ applications and need your help as alumni to identify top candidates. Please send two names by 11th March 2019 to: [email protected] and cc [email protected]

Eligibilty

The admissions committee is looking for mature, academically motivated students who meet both of the following criteria:

  • Will graduate in 2020 or 2021
  • Are at least 15 years old by December 1, 2018, and will not turn 19 years old before July 31, 2019
